The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Alexis Vafeades and the Shipping Deputy Minister to the President, Ms. Marina Hadjimanolis, travelled on Sunday to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, following an invitation extended to them by the Group Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of DP World, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem.
During their stay in Dubai, the Cyprus delegation held meetings with executives of DP World and P&O Maritime. Meetings were also held with the Dubai Maritime Authority Management and executives of P&O Marinas. The Cyprus delegation also had an opportunity to visit the DP World facilities in Dubai as well as the Jebel Ali Port and the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone and the Drydock facilities, Mina Rashid Cruise Terminal and Dubai Maritime City.
