1. Overview
The training of seafarers takes place only in schools recognised by the Republic of Cyprus.
2. Prerequisites
Trainees must meet the admission criteria as it is provided by Law and defined by Schools.
3. Certificates
Successful applicants are issued certificates at their request.
4. Legal Reference
The Merchant Shipping (Issuance and Recognition of Certificates and Maritime Training) Laws of 2008 to 2017 (Law 27(I)/2008).
